Valentine's Day / 51st wedding anniversary when we got rear-ended in traffi Both his
vehicle and ours had to be towed, but no one was injured.
I mention this because I just got the car back from a Ford dealer earlier to for a
transmission repair. Our plan was to drive the motorhome with the vehicle i tow to Fort
Lauderdale for an annual Police and Fire meeting on Sunday and a Police Reti luncheon on Monday.
Those plans are obviously cancelled. Now starts the process of getting a rental car and
doing everything necessary to get the car repaired.
We went from glad to sad in a heartbeat. I wish I could have captured a picture of my
face when I looked into my rear view mirror and saw a pickup truck speeding towards
me, too fast to stop in time.
