I wonder if they serve Pork Spareribs at that celebration? B)

That is a good question. Do they celebrate them as animals or as food? :D

As a pet pig owner, I was not aware of this day, I shall now celebrate it every year going forward and make sure I bring Mr. Clyde Piggles a pup cup from the coffee shop and a pumpkin and carrot cake, his favorite meals.

Interesting. I post 'this day in history' items regularly, but never expected a response
from this one. Be sure to say hello to Mr. Piggles from all of us. BTW, I am a fan of his
    food as well.

And I guess he's lost some weight in recent years. For the first few
minutes I was wondering if they hadn't found a look-alike just for
fun but, as it went on, I became more sure it was him.

Too bad they didn't have Caroline Catz playing his wife just for
fun, but she's in another show this year and I guess she looks
too young for that part in the Best Med. show..

Yeah, I was sure it was him, although it was more the voice that threw me
    off. ;)

Yeah but she probably does look too young. What show is she in now?

Yes, that made quite a diffrence as well. I don't think of him as
having a strong Britiah accent, but he does sound different when he
    'loses' it..

Yeah but she probably does look too young. What show is she in now?

I caught an episode of a show where she was a detective and I assumed
it was new but, looking online at her history, I'm thinking it was
more likely a re-broadcast of an older show called Murder in Suburbia
    made in 2004/2005, 12 episodes.

She is 56 now which probably makes her too young to play Dr Best's
mother, although with the right makeup it could probably be done..

Yeah, I have seen that one. IIRC, she was filming it at the same time she
was filming Doc Martin. She also played a detective in a show called,
    IIRC, DCI Banks.

Yeah, I think that would've been too young. I doubt someone my age would
have a child as old as he seems to be.
