I think the media has worked out a deal with the plow truck drivers because they're letting it pile up, not plowing anything, and it's
making it look like the "big bad storm" that the media made it out to
be.
Normally they'd just plow this and everything would be fine.

Be grateful you are where you are. Georgia gives the kids a day off if there is Frost never mind snow!!!
How is it in Florida? When I lived in Albuquerque I barely got any snow, and snow days there are almost unheard of. There was 1 in the 7 years
that I lived there.

I'd attribute it to the Leftie gov't's wanting to spend money on their social programs (i.e.graft) and not on infrastructure. So they don't
have enough equipment, men, etc. to do the work and don't want to get it because it would take away from their graft.
You know it... I HATE the cold now. I get sand in my vagina.
And you moved from New Mexico so you have no one to blame but yourself.
Ya, but they have to.
None of those people know how to drive in icy (even a little bit)
weather nor do they keep their tires up. In Michigan, you'd be dead driving in winter with bald tires. Down south, bald tires are the norm.
Northern states have the facilities and plans for icy weather. They pre-emptively salt (or sand if the temps are too cold) the roads - especially the intersections. But that means that they have to
stockpile both, and have the trucks and drivers ready to spread the salt/sand when needed.
It's just the expense of the heat that I don't like.
I actually like the snow. Snow days are great. Keeping the kids home, shoveling, outrageous heat bills, it's all good ;)
I was trapped in Kentucky for a few hours because it snowed a little... Cincinnati was my goal. At least if there was a hint of snow the people of Ohio knew what to do.
Ohio drivers are the worst, and also most easily offended. My bro came from Europe for a week (Serbia), and got 2 middle fingers in a day here. From women to boot! ;)
That rule kept me alive for the better part of 25 years.
I'd rather have false hope than no hope.
