The left doesn't want accountability for their actions. They prefer
to do what's right in their own eyes...laws and law enforcement be
damned. That's also why they want to defund the police, and want
nothing to do with religion. In short, without laws, you have anarchy.
The democratic party really shit the bed on the whole "defund the police" thing. The idea was to increase mental health resources for homeless people instead of throwing them out on the street and having law enforcement deal with them. There's no funding for mental health assistance, so someone decided, maybe we could take funding from law enforcement, since they'll
have less to do in urban areas.
It has nothing to do with anarchy, it has more to do with having appropriate resources. But the right called it "defunding the police", and that's where
we are.
I lived and worked in San Francisco and Oakland for many years. I've seen people on the streets committing crimes, harassing people or leremy sleeping and panhandling that belonged in mental care facilities, not jail. In fact, many of them had been in institutions that could no longer afford to keep them.
Because there's no mental health resources available, the cops get the call
